​This year, we are honoured to have worked again with the Tuberous Sclerosis Association Hong Kong (TSCAHK) and become one of their collaborative partners to advocate for those suffering from rare disease and their rights.

Also, we are honoured to collaborate with TSCAHK in organising the exhibition entitled “TSC, we shall see – Connecting the GBA, Building the Future”. This collaboration breaks the geographical limitations through cross-straits cooperation, and conveys the message that “it’s rare but not rare to be seen” . Through this collaboration, we deeply understand the deficiencies in the local healthcare system. On top of that, through interacting with patients, we understand the difficulties they are facing everyday, as well as the challenges faced by the caregivers. This exhibition has given us a profound experience, taking us out of our comfort zone to understand the needs in different segments of society, and broaden our perspectives. Through this grand initiative, we have also realised our initial intention – translation goes beyond mere words and connects people through language.
